The St James’ development is an eight acre site located next to the A20 in Dover town centre and will expand the town’s retail offer which is currently very limited.
A retail led mixed use scheme, the development will comprise 120,000 sq ft of retail and leisure, 450 car parking spaces and will be anchored by a food store, a 6 screen Cineworld cinema, a 108 bed Hotel and five national chain restaurants.
Working with Bond City and managing the development process, Laker Developments has successfully moved the project forward by signing a development agreement with Dover District Council and changing the proposal from a food store scheme to a retail led mixed use development offering large units not currently available within the town centre. We have also started the CPO process and transacted on a number of key lettings with practical completion scheduled for spring 2016.
